The Arboretum features more than 1,215 acres of magnificent gardens, model landscapes, and natural areas – from woodlands and wetlands to prairie – with extensive collections of northern-hardy plants. Tour the Arboretum on 12.5 miles of garden paths and hiking trails. Our mission is to welcome, inform and inspire all through outstanding displays, protected natural areas, horticultural research and education.

ARBORETUM SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Arboretum School Programs are now open for 2022-2023! Designed to engage Grades K-6 in hands-on plant science, select from Field Trips at the Arboretum, Plantmobile which delivers a program at your school, or Field Trip in-a-Box that mails a complete hands-on experience right to your classroom!

Field Trips

$7/student. Come to the Arboretum for a seasonal learning experience in our gardens.

Plantmobile
K – 2
$300-$800. Reserve a mobile Field Trip, delivered in person, right in your own classroom.

Field Trips in-a-Box
K – 6
$185/box. Order a complete class-sized Field Trip, packed in a box, mailed directly to you.

Self-Guided Visits
For student groups
$25/group, additional chaperones extra. Explore the Arboretum on your own.

$10 member/$12 non-member.
