Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center in Sandstone (MN) is currently offering safe, socially-distant group rentals. With a dynamic campus that includes three lodges, one cabin, a yurt, and a group campsite, we can confidently say that we’ll accommodate your group in a safe way. We are taking COVID-19 precautions and have implemented a new, thorough sanitation procedure.
What comes with a rental? You’ll not only have 780 acres to explore on our campus, including lakeshore views and access to Grindstone Lake, but you’ll be able to customize your stay. We can provide meals, rental equipment such as canoes, cross-country skis, snowshoes, and group activities like live raptor classes, high ropes course, and nature hikes.

Crosby Lodge—14 rooms; each room sleeps up to 8 people, featuring solid wood bunks and private bathroom facilities. Two rooms are wheelchair accessible. Crosby Lodge has a capacity for 56 adults or 112 youth/college.
Lowry Lodge—Five bedrooms featuring solid wood bunks, sleeps up to 28 people. Shared bathrooms (separate men’s and women’s multi-stall) on the lower level. Lowry Lodge also has a full kitchen.
Schwyzer Lodge—A large historic lodge situated on the shores of Grindstone Lake: five bedrooms, three bathrooms and can sleep up to 22 people. A fully equipped kitchen, fireplace in the living room, three bathrooms, and a large screened porch facing the lake.
White Pine Campground – This large campsite has open space, wooded tent sites, firepits, and a satellite toilet.
Wetlands Cabin – This log cabin is equipped with a wood-burning stove, tables and benches, cots, and electricity. There is a tent camping area immediately adjacent to the cabin.
Yurt – Canvas-sided round structure with wood stove, benches, cots. Located 1/3 mile from parking lot.
