PAVEK MUSEUM | Guided Tours

A guided tour is the most intriguing and engaging way to discover what the Pavek Museum truly has to offer. Enjoy blasts from the past and expert demonstrations of some of our most unique artifacts while you learn about the history, technology, and cultural significance of electronic communication.

While a self-guided tour of the Pavek Museum can give you interpretive insight into the history, technology, and significance of electronic communication, nothing beats one of our private guided tours.

The Pavek Museum’s guided tours are an excellent way to learn about the people, technology, and stories behind our highly connected lives. A tour docent will guide you through the history of electronic communication, from the telegraph to the internet, while sharing stories of sinking ships and patent battles while demonstrating rare artifacts that you will only see on a guided tour.

Private guided tours cost $16 for adults and $10 for students. Tours can accommodate from 1 to 15 people per group, and there is a $75 minimum per group. Guided tours are 45 minutes long and available from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. The cost of the tour includes admission, so feel free to explore when the tour concludes.

Do you have a smaller group? First Saturday Guided Tours are great for small parties to experience the guided tour. On the first Saturday of each month, the Pavek Museum offers a First Saturday Guided Tour at 11:00 a.m. First Saturday Guided Tours are available on a first come, first served basis with a maximum capacity of 15 people.

If you are interested in booking a guided tour, please contact Education Manager Nina Larson at nina@pavekmuseum.org or 952-926-8198.
