Sidekick Theatre is a professional company based in the Twin Cities that produces shows for adults and children. Under the artistic leadership of Brian Pekol and Tim Stolz, with a company of actors who have appeared on major stages throughout the Twin Cities, Sidekick Theatre is committed to producing an exciting and engaging mix of comedies, musicals and dramas.

Special weekday matinee performances with an optional lunch are available for such adult groups as travel tours, bank clubs, church organizations, senior clubs or a social outing with friends.

Sidekick Theatre annually presents two children’s shows that can be perfect field trip options for schools, day care centers, community education and park and recreation programs. There is no upfront money required for reservations and groups pay for only the number of tickets they use. Teachers/staff also receive one free ticket for every ten paid.

A Musical For All Ages

A magical tale about two sisters who befriend a helpless bear and welcome him into their forest cottage during the long, cold winter. Come spring, the sisters find themselves rewarded royally for their kindness. This enchanting, joyous musical based on the Brother Grimm’s fairy tale touches the heart – with lots of laughs, audience participation and lovable characters along the way! It’s a perfect story for the holiday season.

Get into the holiday groove with a rocking selection of some of the season’s best music and favorites such as The Beach Boys’ “Little Saint Nick,” Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” Celine Dion’s “O Holy Night” and The Eagles’ “Please Come Home For Christmas”. Featuring fabulous vocalists and a band headed up by Brian Pekol, this holiday show promises to leave you feeling merry and bright!

The Rat Pack is Back just in time for the Holidays! Step back in time to hear the music of Sammy Davis, Jr., Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Bring the whole family to enjoy classic tunes from the past such as “Luck be a Lady,” “Fly Me to the Moon” and “New York, New York,” as well as Christmas favorites like “Winter Wonderland” and “Baby it’s Cold Outside.” This tribute to Sammy, Frank, and Dean is great fun.
A Concert in Celebration of Valentine’s Day

Take a trip back to 1973 with the Irish Catholic O’Shea family in this hilarious and moving new memory play which introduces us to 19-year old Linda, as she recalls a week she’ll never forget.
