TROUPE AMERICA | Fun in the Basement has Begun!!!

Music and laughter is the best gift to share with your group! In the 9th installment of the Church Basement Ladies series, the year is 1975 and your favorite characters will be PLOWIN’ THRU more of life’s adventures. Sure to tickle your funny bone, you don’t want to miss their latest shenanigans!

Plowin’ Thru, the latest musical comedy starring the Church Basement Ladies, will be running from September 7, 2022 through February 15, 2023 at the Ames Center in Burnsville. Come along as the ladies don their polyester pantsuits and sing, dance and laugh their way thru the trials and tribulations of life in in the mid-70’s.

Troupe America has been “serving up” entertainment since 1987. Now the beloved Church Basement Ladies are at it again. These musicals are inspired by the book and writings of Janet Letnes Martin and Suzann Nelson, the authors of “Growing Up Lutheran.” The book for the show is written by Greta Grosch and the music and lyrics are created by Dennis Curley.

We offer weekday matinees Tuesday through Friday, as well as weekend matinees and Friday and Saturday evening performances. The Ames Center offers an optional catered lunch for groups of 30+ during the weekday matinees and bus parking is free and convenient. Whether this is your first visit to the basement or you’ve seen ‘em all, you won’t want to miss this brand new show.
