BASE CAMP – NORTHERN STAR SCOUTING | Get Outside This Spring!
It has been a long, cold winter, but the snow is finally starting to melt and it is the perfect time to plan an outdoor adventure for your students! Base Camp offers a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor programs that can help everyone get moving again and bring some excitement back!
The Base Camp outdoor program season is from April – October and we have something for everyone!
* Outdoor Skills Field Trips – this program is a full day experience that will teach you the basics of what you need to know to go camping or spend a day out in the woods. We will teach your students how to build a fire, use a map & compass, wilderness survival basics as well as shelter building.
* Outdoor Rock Climbing – our outdoor climbing tower is great for new and experienced climbers alike! with 4 different sides it offers various challenges and we can even teach you how to Rappel off of the top of the tower. Looking for something different because you feel like you have already mastered our climbing wall? Check out our Night Climbing program and Team Climbing!
* Outdoor High Ropes Course – our outdoor high course offers 4 unique team challenges, all of them requiring at least two people to work together to successfully complete the element.
We all know that weather in Minnesota is unpredictable at best but rest assured! Because here at Base Camp we are able to provide an equivalent experience to all of our outdoor programs INSIDE if the weather prevents us from being able to be outside during your reservation.
