It’s time to start thinking of your strategy to get kids motivated to read…and I know just the thing! A school assembly on reading that also includes promotional materials and classroom activities!
Many have asked what I have been doing during the pandemic…well most recently, I have done a number of school assemblies with a mask and social distancing. But to fill in the gaps between shows, I have been substitute teaching in the Osseo and Anoka-Hennepin school districts.
What I have gained from that experience is an appreciation for the hard work, creativity, and hopeful attitude of all the teachers! I am so appreciative of the work teachers do day in and day out.
In November, Mora Elementary invited me out to share my “Magic of Cooperation” assembly with the student body! Principal Qual did a really great thing, he had the teachers prep for their student conferences while I shared my assembly. We impacted the student body and helped the teachers WIN/WIN!
