Reading motivation is easy for some of us. But for some it is a real struggle and that is one of the things I address in my assemblies. I also offer some simple ideas to help those who don’t enjoy reading! You see I have a son who didn’t like reading and I learned some easy ideas that helped him.
I have a total of 3 reading motivation assemblies they are as follows:
#1 Kids Who Read “R” COOL! = Reading Expands Your Imagination, the More You Read the More You Know, and Kids Who Read “R” COOL!
#2 Readers Are Leaders = SEEK answers (Desire), LEARN from books or other information sources (Action) & LEAD others (Results)!
#3 Seuss on the Loose = The 3 main reasons Theodore Geisel wrote: To encourage kids to use their imagination and create, To have FUN when they read, and finally, To learn an important lesson in life!
Each of these assemblies run 45 minutes and are supported with 2 digital files for communication and classroom activities!
