HISTORICAL EXPERIENCES | The War to End of Wars: World War 1

It was 104 years ago at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 that World War I came to an end. Teach your students all about the Great War by having HISTORICAL EXPERIENCES come to you to bring this history to life.

This interactive presentation will give your students a thorough understanding of what the Great War was all about. What were the causes of the war? Your students will portray the different European nations as they play out the domino effect that plunged Europe and eventually the world into war. Why was it such a costly and devastating war? Your students will learn about new inventions like the airplane, the tank and lethal gas, which made the battlefields deadlier than any others to date. What was the cost of the war in terms of loss of life and how did the war become a turning point in the history of the world. Minnesotans were key players in the war sending 118,497 men to fight in the war. Minnesota women also contributed to the war effort as nurses, drivers, and aid workers on the battlefield, while many more participated on the home front taking on new jobs and joining volunteer organizations. Make history come alive for your students. Go to historicalexperiences.org or call 507-381-0898 to schedule this exciting history event today.
