HOCOKATA TI | Learn about Dakota Culture!

Hoċokata Ti’s public exhibit, Mdewakanton: Dwellers of the Spirit Lake, provides visitors with an experience that will enhance their knowledge and understanding of the Mdewakanton Dakota people and their history.

Our professional cultural interpreters will guide your group through the exhibit and bring history to life by providing insight into the meaning behind the displays and artifacts. Our immersive and interactive exhibit gives students a better understanding of Mdewakanton lifeways that can’t be experienced through books. Plan your group’s visit by filling out our request form at hocokatati.org/group-field-trips.
