Experience the work of iconic artist Gordon Parks at Landmark Center this May. “Choice Cinema Series: In the Footsteps of Gordon Parks” includes screenings of Half Past Autumn (May 7 | 1 pm), The Learning Tree (May 8 | 3 pm), & Leadbelly (May 13 | 7 pm)
Gordon Parks’ films are recognized for their cultural significance and present positive and powerful media representation of young Black men. As a nationally recognized photographer, musician, writer, and film director, his influence has extended through multiple generations. And it all began right here in St. Paul.
