“Uncle Sam’s New Deal” illuminates the Federal Government’s role in reviving Minnesota communities 80 years ago. As the Federal Building for the Upper Midwest, many of the New Deal programs were run out of the offices at Landmark Center for the state of Minnesota. New Deal programs brought relief to America’s poor and helped stabilize its economy. Find out how they revitalized Minnesota’s communities in this fascinating exhibit featuring photography, interviews, film footage and an interactive activity.
