MISSISSIPPI PARK CONNECTION | National Park Service Field Trip

Bring your 4rd-6th grade students to witness the only mighty waterfall on the Mississippi River, while learning about the early milling industry in Minneapolis with hands-on flour milling and water-power model-building.

Visit the only waterfall on the Mississippi River at the St. Anthony Falls lock and dam in Minneapolis where students rotate through a 90-minute outdoor program led by the education team from the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. Working River is a field trip program presented by the U.S. National Park Service, Mississippi Park Connection, and the Minnesota Historical Society.
