Learn about some of Minnesota’s most fascinating wildlife during a staff guided walk through of the Wildlife Science Center. Listen to wolves and coyotes howling, observe bears eating, and look into the eyes of an owl. A truly “Wild” and memorable experience.

Programs at the Wildlife Science Center
A trip to the Wildlife Science Center is memorable for many reasons, but none more so then the chance to get up close and personal with wildlife. All living things have amazing adaptations allowing them to survive in the habitats where they live. The Wildlife Science Center’s wolves, bears, cougars, bobcats, coyotes, porcupines, foxes, raccoons, raptors, and reptiles provide living examples of color variations, food and prey selection, predator vs prey, seasonal survival strategies, plus other wildlife topics.

Cost
– $10.00 per person for a one hour program
– $12.50 per person for a two hour program
– $15.00 per person for a three hour program

Minimum group size is 10 people. A reservation is required.

All program participants will need to dress for the expected weather conditions. Most of the program take place outdoors.

Programs at your location
Bring the Wildlife Science Center’s wildlife to your group. $250.00 for a 45 to 60 minute program. A fee for travel expenses will also be charged. A reservation is required.

Raptors of Minnesota – With hooked beaks, excellent eyesight, sharp talons, and strong legs and feet, raptors rule the sky. Meet some of Minnesota’s most amazing birds of prey during a Wildlife Science Center presentation including live hawks and owls. Learn about the amazing adaptations Minnesota’s raptors rely on to find prey, hide, defend territory, and take care of their young. Touch the collection of raptor and other wildlife artifacts to find out first hand why birds can fly and we cannot.

Cold Blooded Creatures – A trip to the Wildlife Science Center is memorable for many reasons, but none more so than the chance to get up close and personal with wildlife. All living things have amazing adaptations allowing them to survive in the habitats where they live. The Wildlife Science Center’s cougars, black bears, bobcats, lynx, raccoons, foxes, skunks, porcupines, reptiles and amphibians provide living examples of color variations, food and prey selection, carnivore vs. herbivore vs omnivore, predator vs prey, seasonal survival strategies, diurnal vs nocturnal vs crepuscular plus other wildlife topics.
