TAYLORS FALLS BOAT TOURS | History of the St Croix River

Take a field trip to Taylors Falls and ride the authentic paddlewheel boat through the historic Dalles of the St. Croix River. Study the fur trade, riverboat commerce, lumbering and logging, Native American history, and immigration-related to the St. Croix River Valley.

The cruise departs at 11:00 am and returns at 12:20 pm. Our boat trip will be open to the general public. The curriculum combines steamboat, logging, and geology and will be narrated while underway.
